Hey everyone! I'm new to building gaming PCs, and since I'm in Dubai, I can't find specific build advice easily on sites like PCPartPicker. I'm curious if there are any brands I should definitely avoid when choosing computer parts, or if there are certain brands that are generally better to stick with. Thanks for the help!

Definitely skip ADATA for storage. I've had a bunch of their SSDs fail on me. Almost everyone I know agrees on this one.
Same here! I've had three ADATA SSDs fail on me, it's rough!
A lot of folks seem to steer clear of ASRock motherboards these days. I've heard mixed reviews about build quality lately, so it might be one to avoid for now. Just a heads up!
Really? I've used ASRock before without issues. What did you hear specifically?
That's a bummer! I just finished two builds with ASRock, and they seemed fine.
I've been building PCs for almost 30 years, and overall, I’ve had decent luck with Gigabyte for GPUs and motherboards—though some users report coil whine. I also recommend Corsair for PSUs and RAM; they’re super reliable. For storage, I like Western Digital or Crucial. And for monitors, AOC and Dell have been great for me!
I've heard great things about Corsair too, definitely a solid choice!
Watch out for Zotac; my friend's 3070ti died after two years, which isn't great. I'd also recommend looking into SeaSonic or EVGA for power supplies; they are known for their quality. If you're going Intel, don’t forget to update the BIOS for the latest chips—there were some bugs earlier on.
Exactly! I had a Zotac 2060 that ran perfectly for a long time, but I think it really depends on luck.
Absolutely, I think I've got bad luck too with ADATA drives.
