I'm trying to decide on a controller for PC gaming and have narrowed it down to a few options based on some light research. The controllers I'm considering are the GameSir G7 Pro 8K, the 8BitDo Ultimate 3E, and the new Steam Controller. I mainly play games like Stellar Blade, Nioh 3, Wukong, and some fighting games. I'm leaning towards the GameSir G7 Pro 8K, but I'm not completely sold on it yet. Are there any other good options I should think about? I don't have much experience with controllers, so I'd really appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks!

The new Steam Controller has caught my interest too! I hope it drops soon because it looks promising.
Honestly, I wouldn't go for GameSir; I've had bad experiences. Check out alternatives like Apex or Kingong Pro. 8BitDo is decent but does have mixed reviews on durability.
I've heard a few good things about 8BitDo, though. Can you elaborate on why you think GameSir is worse? I'd like to understand before making a decision.
If you're considering other options, I'd recommend the DualSense for games like Stellar Blade – it has some great features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. I played Death Stranding 2 with it, and the gyro for aiming was pretty neat! But just keep in mind that not all games support these functions, so it may not be a huge deal if you choose differently. Personally, I also use 8BitDo, but it doesn't have those extra cool features.
Thanks for the heads up! I'm hesitant about the DualSense since I've heard rumors that Sony might not keep bringing their titles to PC.
For a solid budget choice, I'd say go for the Xbox Elite controller if you like customization. Otherwise, the 8BitDo Ultimate is great as well. Just avoid brands that don’t have a good track record like Razer and Logitech.
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely consider the Elite controller for its features.
It really depends on personal preference! I use the DualSense Edge and love it, but I think it ultimately comes down to what feels best for you.
Yeah, exactly! I just want to hear from folks who've tried these specific models, especially the ones you're mentioning.

Definitely! I'm excited to see what it's all about, especially with all the advancements they might incorporate.
