I've been using my PC since 2022, and I've noticed it's starting to struggle and get choppy while playing certain games. I'm looking for advice on the best parts to upgrade to improve its performance. Here are my current specs:
- Intel Core i5-11400F (6 Core, 2.6GHz)
- 32GB DDR4 RAM
- GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB)
- 1.5TB NVMe SSD

I recommend saving up around $1000 to $1200 to build a new AMD AM5 system. This way, you can get the latest tech and avoid compatibility issues down the line. It's a bigger investment upfront, but worth it in the long run!

Honestly, I think you might want to consider upgrading your GPU first. You should check the wattage of your power supply to make sure it can handle a new graphics card. The RTX 2060 is decent, but you'll see a significant performance boost with something newer.

If you can stretch your budget, go for a more powerful GPU like the AMD 9060 XT with 16GB of VRAM. That's a solid upgrade and can hold you over for a while. You might want to look into upgrading your CPU later, but start with the GPU for the most impact.

For the best bang for your buck, consider the 5070. Some might argue about the AMD alternatives, but they tend to be pricier. Just make sure to avoid options with only 8GB of VRAM if you want to future-proof for the next few years!

Yeah, the 5060ti with 16GB of VRAM is also a really good pick for mid-range gaming!
