I'm looking to pick between the Corsair RMx Series RM850x and the ASUS TUF Gaming 850W Gold for a new build. There's less than a $10 difference in price. Are either of these options good, or is there a better PSU I should consider?

Both PSUs are solid choices, but I'd lean towards the RMx for slightly better quality. Just remember to check the SPL PSU tier list when making your pick. Also, don’t confuse a PSU's efficiency with its overall quality!
Considering it's just a $10 difference and these are your best options, I’d definitely say to go for the Corsair. It’s well-regarded in the community for its reliability!
I'd recommend going with Corsair or Seasonic. They’re my go-to brands, especially if you prioritize gold rating or higher. If you want something even better, I've usually opted for Platinum or Titanium rated PSUs. Corsair has always treated me well!

I’ve actually got an old Corsair PSU in my PC and it’s been great, so I’m leaning towards Corsair. Plus, the same store has the 90-degree cable I need. By the way, I saw there are three different cables available—what's up with that?
