Which Power Supply Should I Choose: MSI A650BN or Corsair CX750?

I'm building a new PC and my current setup has a Gamemax PSU, but I've heard that I shouldn't rely on it due to reliability issues. I'm considering either the MSI A650BN or the Corsair CX750, but I'm not sure which one would be better for my needs. I've checked a PSU tier list but I'm not really sure how to interpret it.

For reference, here's my planned configuration: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4p9jFZ](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4p9jFZ). Just to clarify, I'm looking specifically at the black label version of the CX750.

Are you worried about the power draw? If you're questioning whether you're going to exceed the PSU capacity, just know that for most setups, 750W is usually more than enough, unless you're running something like an RTX 5090. With your current GPU, the RX 9060 XT, which pulls around 160W, the Corsair CX750 should be a solid choice. It’s a reliable brand and has great reviews, unlike your current PSU which has a bad reputation.

Right! Just steer clear of Gamemax; I've heard of plenty of those units frying systems. It's a risky gamble.

The Corsair CX750 is a well-regarded PSU known for its stability. It's likely your best option, especially if you're switching from the Gamemax—everyone seems to have had issues with them. Go with the Corsair, it'll serve you better in the long run!
