I'm trying to decide between two different setups for my new build. Should I go with 2 sticks of 16 GB RAM and an RX 9060 XT with 8 GB of VRAM, or would it be better to get 2 sticks of 8 GB RAM paired with the RX 9060 XT that has 16 GB of VRAM?

I would go with the 2 sticks of 8 GB RAM and the RX 9060 XT with 16 GB of VRAM. The extra VRAM is a big deal, and you can always upgrade your system RAM later if needed.

Definitely choose the RX 9060 XT with 16 GB of VRAM. It's much harder to replace VRAM than system RAM, and 16 GB of system RAM should be fine for most tasks, especially gaming at 4K.

If you're looking for longer-term performance, the 2x8 GB RAM with the 16 GB GPU is the way to go. Upgrading RAM is usually cheaper compared to upgrading a GPU, and you'll benefit from the extra VRAM now.
