I'm looking to downclock my Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM (32 GB, 2 x 16GB, 7200MHz Intel XMP optimized) to fit my setup. I'm wondering which option between 6000MHz CL30 and 6400MHz CL32 would work better with my Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Aorus Master X870E motherboard. I also have a Zotac Gaming Extreme Airo RTX 4080. Any advice?

With x3d CPUs, RAM speed isn't a huge factor. Even if you dropped to 4800MHz, you'd probably see similar performance in most scenarios. So really, it might just come down to how much you want to spend.
Wait, are you saying 7200MHz would still be unstable for x3d CPUs? That’s what I was worried about.
