I've been having trouble with my Samsung Odyssey G7 32" monitor. It randomly shuts off completely, meaning there's no LED light or response when I press the power button. The only way to get it back on is to unplug the power brick from the wall, wait a few minutes, and then plug it back in. This issue usually happens after I've been using it for a long time, particularly in the late afternoon, so I'm starting to wonder if heat might be a factor.
I've already tried a few things: first, I thought it could be my UPS or power strip setup, but I connected the monitor directly to the wall socket, and the same problem occurred. I'm curious if this indicates a failing power brick or if it's an internal issue with the monitor itself. Has anyone else experienced this with a G7 and did replacing the adapter resolve it?

I've had a similar issue with a different Samsung curved gaming monitor and ended up getting it replaced under warranty. If your monitor is still under warranty, definitely check into that!
This kind of shutdown also happened to my G9 model. There's no official fix for it, and sadly, it's out of warranty too. I just keep mine in sleep mode instead of turning it off completely, which helps reduce the occurrences to just a few times a year.
I've tried keeping mine on, but it still turns off in the evening. I can work all day without it shutting down, but come evening, it just turns off and won't respond until I unplug it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have warranty anymore since I bought it a couple of years ago from the US. I'm looking for other potential fixes before I consider buying a new one.
