I'm considering upgrading components of my PC, specifically the motherboard or the power supply unit (PSU), but I'm not sure which one to tackle first. I'd appreciate any advice or insights on this matter! Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
- GPU: RTX 3070
- RAM: 16GB (8x2) DDR4 3200MHz
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M-S2H
- PSU: Cooler Master Masterwatt 650w 80+ Bronze
- Storage: Kingston NV3 1TB NVMe SSD

Honestly, I don't really see a strong reason to upgrade either the motherboard or PSU right now. Both seem fine for your current setup. What's motivating this upgrade?
I'd say get a new GPU first! The 8GB of VRAM in your RTX 3070 can hold back visual quality for newer games. Upgrading the motherboard and PSU isn't really worth it at this point.
Before upgrading anything, think about your upgrade goals. Are you looking for better performance or stability? If you're struggling with stability at 1080p, maybe a new GPU would help more than the motherboard or PSU.
Yeah, I'm just trying to keep things smooth since it's been a bit unstable.

I just wanted to switch things up and improve my system without just going for a new CPU or RAM.
