In most retail situations, there’s usually a regional manager who oversees multiple stores in your area. That could be your best bet for getting some action on your problem.

For future reference, here's a rough hierarchy for Apple retail management: Lead, Supervisor, Manager, Senior Manager, Store Leader/General Manager, Market Leader/District Manager, Market Director/Regional Manager, and finally the Regional Director/Territory Manager. You might want to contact one of them if you can find their info!
I had a similar problem years ago. Back when the first Intel MacBook Pro came out, I dealt with an unhelpful associate. I sent a detailed email to the store, Steve Jobs (found his email), and another corporate address I found. Within two days, the store owner reached out to fix the issue. It might help to try a similar approach!
