Why am I getting electric shocks from my PC case?

I plugged my PC case into the wall outlet and was about to switch on the PSU when I got an electric shock. Now, I can't touch any metal parts of the case without getting shocked again. I had just come out of the shower, and while my hand wasn't wet, it was a bit damp. Could that be a factor? Also, could any components be damaged? How do I resolve this issue?

Sounds like there might be low resistance between you and the ground, or perhaps the computer isn't properly grounded. This can happen sometimes, especially if the grounding in your outlet isn't good. Definitely get it checked out.

Turn it off immediately! That sounds really dangerous. It could be a problem with the power supply. Don't try to fix it yourself unless you know exactly what you're doing.

Yeah, I've heard that some power supplies can be low quality, which might cause issues like this. It could also be static electricity playing a role. It's good you unplugged everything right away!
