Why Am I Getting Random BSODs with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL?

Hey everyone! I upgraded my PC last month, and since the beginning of June, I've been facing a lot of random blue screens of death (BSOD) with the error code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." I've tried updating my drivers (there was one missing, but even after installing it, nothing changed), scanned my RAM with no issues found, and messed around in the PC console a bit. Just an hour ago, it crashed again while I was doing nothing intensive. I also tried using Bluescreenview but I'm pretty lost with what the logs mean. From what I've read online, it seems related to unauthorized memory usage, but I'm not sure how to fix it without wiping everything clean—I've heard that might help, but I'd rather not take that risk.

By the way, here's a link to the folder with the DMP error files if that helps: [dmp files](https://www.mediafire.com/file/o9udi2la0att8bx/BSOD_dmp.zip/file). Any guidance would be super appreciated!

It sounds like you're dealing with some frustrating BSODs! First off, to get a clear picture of what's going on, you really need those dump files from your crashes. If you can access Windows normally or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. Zip those files up and upload them to a file-sharing service like mediafire.com. The more dump files you can gather, the better for identifying the issue! Check out this guide for setting up your PC to generate minidumps: [BSOD Mini Dump Configuration Guide](https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-configure-windows-10-create-minidump-bsod.html). Good luck!

I suggest starting with your motherboard BIOS. If your BIOS settings are stable (no weird glitches while navigating), consider updating it to the latest version available (that's 7B86vHN from MSI). After that, grab the latest AMD Chipset Drivers specifically for your motherboard—these drivers can really help stabilizing the system. Just try to install the AMD Chipset Driver installer from their website, as other drivers can cause issues. Hopefully, that will help stop those annoying crashes!

Thanks for the tips! How do I check if everything in my BIOS is stable? Also, I saw that some people are saying to roll back to an older BIOS version if issues arise. Is it better to stick with the newest update or go for an older version that’s proven? I’m just worried about messing anything up since I can’t afford to lose my PC!
