Why am I getting ‘Too many verification codes have been sent’ on my new iPhone?

Hey everyone, I'm feeling really stuck right now. My phone got blocked by scammers, which was totally my fault, and Apple support was no help at all. So, I went out and bought a new iPhone to sign into my Apple ID, but now I'm hit with this message saying, 'Too many verification codes have been sent,' even though I haven't received a single one. I'm wondering if this could be linked to the new SIM card I just put in. Should I try putting it in an Android phone to see if I can get the code that way? I'm really stressed out because all my important accounts are tied to that Apple ID. I've heard people say to just wait, but what if that doesn't work?

I think it’s definitely worth considering that SIM card. But don’t forget that giving it some time is vital, too! If you keep hitting the login button, it'll just mess things up more. Just chill for a day and see if it works out after that!

It sounds frustrating, but you might need to take a breather! Try waiting 24 hours after your last login attempt before trying again—if you keep trying to log in, it might reset the waiting period. In the meantime, yes, putting your SIM in another phone could help if you're not getting the codes on your new iPhone.
