I've been hearing voices coming from my PC a few times a day, and I want to figure out what's going on. Even though I can't record it, I hear things like someone speaking in English, and today I caught the words ''holy shi,'' but it cut off pretty quickly. I usually mute myself and others during a Discord party with friends. I live in Portugal, and I'm worried this might be a glitch where I'm hearing people I'm supposed to have muted, or could this mean my PC is hacked?

It sounds like this could be a glitch with Discord, where the app is letting through audio from people you’ve muted. But there’s also a chance it could be related to your hardware, like if you have unshielded cables that might be picking up radio chatter or something. What kind of audio setup are you using?
Definitely check your cables. It could help clear things up.
Hard to say if it's a glitch or something more concerning. I wouldn't jump to conclusions about being crazy yet, but keep an eye on it!
Haha, are you sure you're not just hearing things? It's wild but people can play pranks like that. Stay safe though!
I promise I’m not joking! This happens too often to ignore.
Fair enough! Just trying to lighten the mood.
Here's a pic of my setup; could this be the issue?
