Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of a frustrating issue after upgrading my CPU. I switched from an AMD Athlon x4 740 Quad Core to an AMD A10-6700 Series, but I'm not getting any signal to my display. I've double-checked all the cables and everything seems to be connected properly. I even updated the BIOS, but still no luck. Here are my specs: CPU - AMD A10-6700 Series, GPU - GTX 1080, Motherboard - Asrock FM2A75 Pro4-M. Any help would be really appreciated!

I would also recommend reseating the CPU and RAM. Sometimes just taking them out and putting them back in can help. Plus, ensure that all other components are properly connected, especially the GPU, as a loose connection could lead to display issues.

When you say there’s no signal, does that mean your monitor is completely blank? Try using a different display if possible to eliminate any monitor issues. Also, check if the computer is actually booting up—do the fans spin? Does it seem like everything is working except for the display?

Yes, it's completely blank. The monitor shows that it's getting some kind of signal at first but then just goes to 'no signal'. The fans are running and all lights are on, so it seems like it’s powering up.

First things first, make sure your new CPU is supported by your motherboard. Sometimes compatibility issues can cause no signal problems. Also, do you hear any beeps when you power on? That could indicate if the motherboard is recognizing the CPU at all.
