Why Are All My Devices Lagging?

I'm having a major issue where every device in my house experiences severe lag, making games unplayable and shows nearly impossible to watch. There's this awful stuttering effect, particularly when things are panning at a consistent speed. I suspect it might be an electricity issue, but I can't afford to bring an electrician in, especially since my family has previously avoided addressing it. I even offered to pay for the visit myself, but they won't let me. Is there anything else I can try to solve this?

Have you checked what kind of devices you're using? Are you experiencing this issue on PCs, consoles, and phones? It could help narrow down the problem.

I don’t think it's an electrical issue, honestly. It’s unlikely that all your devices would be affected purely by power supply issues, especially your phones which aren’t plugged into the house power all the time. Have you considered that you might be facing RF interference or a bad internet connection? Also, does anyone else in your household notice the lag, or is it just you?

It's mostly me who notices it. My parents don’t seem to see it at all, and they aren’t really into tech, so they might just not be realizing how bad it is. But when I'm at my dad's place, everything works perfectly.

What's your internet speed like? If you've got a download speed of about 918.14 and an upload of 38.65, that sounds decent. But how many devices are connected at once, and how old are they? It might be overwhelming your network.
