Why Are My 99% FPS So Low and Stuttering in This Game?

I'm having some issues with my gaming performance. Specifically, my 99% FPS in a game called Satisfactory is really low—around 30 FPS—while my average is around 240 FPS. I have a pretty decent setup that includes an ASROCK 7900XTX GPU, a Ryzen 9 5950X CPU, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. I'm running on Windows 11 Home. The CPU seems to be running at about 50% utilization and the GPU at 80% during gameplay. I've tried maxing out the graphics settings, which only gives me a slight increase of 5-10 FPS, but I'm still experiencing stutters. I'm not having this issue with other games, so I'm scratching my head over what might be causing this. Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

Have you tried lowering some settings or checking if there's a specific optimization setting in Satisfactory that can help? Sometimes, certain settings can heavily influence 99% lows compared to average FPS.

It sounds like you might be experiencing a CPU bottleneck, especially considering the specific game and resolution you're using. The 5950X might not perform as well in gaming situations compared to some of the X3D CPUs, especially if the game isn’t optimized to utilize more than a few cores. Have you checked the temperatures? They can affect performance.

My CPU temps are between 68 and 72°C. Just recently, both the CPU and GPU temps started maxing out during play, but my 99% FPS is still way under what I was getting before. I had around 320 FPS and about 50 for 99% FPS earlier.

Yeah, it's strange because this issue seems limited to Satisfactory; no problems in other games.
