Why Are My FPS Drops in Games After Several Minutes?

I've been having an issue with my Lenovo Legion Pro 5 lately. Initially, my games run smoothly for about 5 to 10 minutes, but then the FPS drops significantly, causing serious lag. I'm using an Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, and I've made sure to update to the latest driver (581.57). I've monitored my performance using MSI Afterburner and noticed a stark difference in graphics stats after the lag starts, especially in GTA V. I'm worried this could either be a driver issue or something related to overheating. I'd love to hear any suggestions on how to fix this!

It sounds like you're thermal throttling. Your CPU temps are hitting 97°C, which isn’t normal, even for gaming. You should definitely look into cooling solutions—like better airflow in your laptop or checking if the fans are working properly.

Gotcha! Any advice on how to improve cooling? Do I need to clean it or maybe even invest in a cooling pad?
