I'm using a 2024 MacBook Air with Sonoma and Google Chrome, and I'm having a really weird issue. Most websites are defaulting to Korean, even though my incognito searches also come up in Korean—my regular searches are fine, though. I've checked my language settings in both Chrome and my system, and they're set to English with no Korean options installed. I do have a Korean keyboard available, but I rarely use it, and my region is set correctly (not Korea!). I didn't buy this laptop in Korea either. It's really confusing, as I haven't changed any of my device settings to Korean. Interestingly, other browsers like Safari don't have this problem. Anyone experienced this before or have tips on how to fix it?

Have you tried visiting google.com/ncr? That should help in setting your Google searches back to a non-specific region and might stop the Korean results from popping up. Give it a shot!
Do you happen to have a VPN running? Sometimes, VPNs can cause issues with location and language settings. If you're using one, try disconnecting it to see if that fixes the problem.
Nope, I don't use a VPN at all. Never connected one on this laptop.
