Why Are My iPhone 6s Not Charging?

I've got a bunch of unused iPhone 6s that my company is trying to put back into service instead of buying new phones. The problem is, no matter what I try—different cables, wall chargers, or button combinations—none of them charge. When I plug one in, the Apple logo flashes briefly and then it powers off again in a loop. Even letting it charge for over an hour doesn't help. If I unplug it, it won't respond at all. Is this something you've dealt with before? Could the batteries have deteriorated from sitting around for so long? This isn't just one phone but several iPhone 6s doing the same thing. By the way, I tried posting this on a different forum, and they weren't very welcoming at all!

Yeah, it's pretty much e-waste at this point. If they would rather put some money into them instead of tossing them, check the battery replacement program. Just understand that you might still hit some snags when trying to run modern apps.

Honestly, it's just an old phone. We're talking about a device that's been sitting around for a decade. Batteries can go bad even without use, so it's definitely possible that the batteries have degraded. If you want to use these iPhones, you'll likely need to replace the batteries. It's a cheaper fix than getting brand new phones, but just know there might be other issues down the line too.

Right! Plus, remember the iPhone 6 can only update to iOS 12, so if your workplace needs specific apps, they might not work anymore.

I feel you, I would want one too! But yeah, considering they're over 10 years old, you have to really think about whether it's worth the effort to revive them. Might not be ideal for everyday use unless it’s just for calls and texts.
