I've been having a strange issue with my monitor and TV lately. Initially, I had a decent monitor that started flickering. As a temporary fix, I swapped it with my TV, which has always worked perfectly. However, after using my air conditioning at night, I turned it off and switched on the TV only to see that the colors were all inverted and the screen was flickering with a white wash. Now, there's even a small blue line down the right side of the TV. I can't help but wonder if it's something to do with the air conditioning unit since I've also had a recent ant problem and noticed some ants inside the screen. Could the AC be the culprit, or is it just a coincidence?

Condensation might be at play here! If your setup is flush against the wall and the AC cools everything down quickly, it could create moisture when your devices heat up. That's usually bad news for electronics!
Seems like the AC unit could be affecting your electronics, especially if it's right next to them. I recommend moving your setup to a different circuit and using a surge protector to avoid damage. It might help with the flickering too!
Just to clarify, the TV isn't plugged into the same outlet as the AC.
Gotcha! I was just thinking that the AC might cause moisture issues, which can really mess with electronics.
