Why Are My New PC Specs Only Getting 400 FPS on Roblox?

I've got a new setup with an R7 7800X3D processor, a Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz, all on a B650 Eagle AX motherboard. After upgrading from an R5 3600 and GTX 1650, I expected a major boost in performance. However, in Roblox—specifically in the game 'Flex Your FPS and Ping'—I'm averaging only 400 FPS, with a peak of 740 FPS which drops too quickly to really register. I've played other games like Valorant, where I hit 1040 FPS in practice and around 600-700 FPS during matches, so I thought my new combo would handle Roblox easily. I haven't messed with overclocking because I'm worried about damaging my PC and I keep my drivers updated. My settings in Roblox are on HYPR-RX too. I have two monitors; one is a 1440p monitor capped at 180Hz and the other is a 1080p monitor at 59.94Hz. I know more than 180 FPS isn't necessary, but I'm really hoping to achieve at least an average of 700 FPS in this low-demand game! Can anyone suggest what might be wrong or how to improve my performance?

Dude, maybe you’re expecting a bit too much? Roblox isn’t really designed to push high-end specs to the max like AAA titles do. But if you’re getting good numbers in Valorant, your rig is working great! Just remember that max FPS in some games doesn’t always equate to performance in others. But still, tweaking settings and making sure everything is optimized could help.

That's what I thought too! Roblox has so many players, but it really doesn’t stress hardware as much. Just look for settings that might improve visuals without sacrificing too much FPS.

It seems a bit strange to complain about 400 FPS, but hey, I get it; with such a powerful setup, you’d expect more for sure. Have you checked your background processes? Sometimes, even minor apps can hog resources and impact performance. Also, consider checking your GPU performance in other lighter games to see if it’s a Roblox-specific issue.

Honestly, complaining about 400 FPS is wild! That's still a crazy high number for most games. But if you're hoping for more, it could be a matter of settings or maybe Roblox just doesn’t fully utilize your hardware. Have you tried tweaking in-game settings or ensuring that your monitor settings match your system's output? Sometimes, capping your FPS at a lower number helps with stability in competitive games too.
