I built my PC a couple of months ago with some pretty decent specs: a 9950x3d CPU, a 4070TI GPU, and 64 GB of Corsair Dominator RAM, all being cooled by an NZXT Kraken Elite. However, I've noticed that my CPU temperatures are quite high at idle (about 65°C) and go up to 75-80°C when playing Overwatch, and even hit 85-89°C while gaming on Cyberpunk. What's more concerning is that I'm struggling to maintain a good frame rate in Cyberpunk, especially compared to my friend who has an i7-12700 and 4060 and is getting significantly higher FPS. Are my temps a serious issue, and what steps can I take to improve my performance?

It sounds like you might need to check a few things. First, what's your room temperature? That can definitely impact your CPU temps. Also, can you confirm your CPU temperatures when idle versus during gaming? Knowing those will help you pinpoint the issue!
From what you’ve shared, your CPU temps are definitely on the higher side, especially under load. It might be worth investigating your CPU cooler—what model are you using? Your GPU temps seem fine, but if your CPU cooling isn't doing its job, that might explain the high temps and the FPS drops. Also, make sure your case has good airflow!

Yeah, I’ll check on the cooler model. I think it's the NZXT Kraken, but I’ll confirm that and look into my case airflow too.
