I've been looking for an Xbox controller for my PC, but everywhere I check, they seem to start at £60, which feels pretty outrageous compared to what I remember. Last time I bought one, they were around £30-40. I'm curious about what caused the prices to jump so high since the functionality and design haven't really changed. Is there any way to get around these prices or alternatives that are just as good?

You might want to check out controllers from brands like 8bitdo or Gamesir. They offer great quality at lower prices, often with better features compared to official Xbox controllers. I just picked up a Gamesir for about $42, and it's been fantastic! No sense in paying more for a regular Xbox controller when there are solid alternatives available.
Agreed! I bought a Gamesir too. The hall effect sticks make a big difference, plus it was way cheaper than the official ones.
