Why Can’t AI Respond to Us on Its Own?

I've been wondering why AI can't defend itself or speak directly when I engage with it on platforms like Twitter or Reddit. Isn't it capable enough to respond to opinions or questions by itself?

The real issue isn't what AI can do, but how we manage it as a society. For AI to sound truly human and interact directly, we need way more research and some solid guidelines.

Well, AI isn't designed to waste resources responding to random people. It’s more focused on useful applications rather than chit-chatting with every Redditor out there!
