I'm having trouble changing the refresh rate on my Ultra Gear monitor, which boasts 180 Hz. I have my PS5 set to 120 Hz, but it doesn't seem to be working as expected. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

The PS5 doesn’t support a 180 Hz refresh rate. It can only go up to 120 Hz, so that's probably why you're having issues. Also, check if your monitor can actually handle 180 Hz over HDMI; not all monitors support that. Make sure you're using the right HDMI cable too!
Have you tried connecting your monitor to a PC to test if it can reach 180 Hz? Sometimes the monitor is capable of that refresh rate, but the console might limit you. Just a thought!
Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your monitor. If you’re just using the generic Windows driver, you might not be accessing all of the monitor's refresh rate capabilities. This might be the key to unlocking those higher frequencies!
