Why Can’t I Disable the Password on My iPhone?

I recently turned off the passcode on my iPhone because I wanted to rely on Face ID for unlocking my device. However, even after disabling the passcode requirement, it still prompts me for a password to unlock the phone. What's going on?

Honestly, turning off your passcode isn't the best idea for security. If you lose your phone, all your data could be accessed easily. I'd recommend using Face ID with a strong passcode instead, like not the basic ones like 123456. Also, consider adding a trusted phone number to your Apple ID for added security. Just a thought!

That’s true, but my Face ID isn't working properly. It keeps failing and making me enter my password instead. It’s super frustrating!
