Why can’t I enable 120 FPS on my Acer TV with PS5?

I'm having a tough time getting my Acer M Series Q LED TV (model AR75UDMGR2885AT) to display 120 FPS while playing on my PS5. I've checked everything I could think of:

- Reset the picture settings.
- I verified that the HDMI is compatible.
- My PS5 settings are fine since I was able to use the same settings on my previous TV, which supported 120 FPS.
- I even tried changing HDMI cables and ports.

The weird part is that my PS5 indicates it's 120 Hz compatible, and I shared some images of the setup in the comments. I know for sure that the PS5 can produce more than 60 FPS because I experienced it with my older LG B2 model. Any help would be appreciated!

Just a thought, did you make sure to enable Game Mode on your TV? It can sometimes affect whether you can select higher refresh rates. Additionally, check if there are any firmware updates available for your TV that might improve compatibility with the PS5.

It sounds like your TV does support 120 Hz, which is great. But remember, FPS and Hz are not the same. Although your Acer TV can handle 120 Hz, the actual frame rate you'll see depends on the PS5's graphics rendering. So, it’s possible that the issue lies with the PS5 rather than the TV settings. Have you checked if the PS5 settings for video output are correctly configured?

I get that, but I used to switch to 120 FPS easily on my LG B2. Why can't I do it now?
