I just bought an AOC Q27G40XMN monitor and I'm having some trouble. When I connect it with a DisplayPort (DP) cable, I'm stuck at 1080p and 60Hz with no option to change that. I've tried resetting the monitor, using a different DP cable, but no luck. However, when I switch to HDMI, I can get 1440p and the max refresh rate. I've even tested it on another computer and saw the same issue. I've installed the specific driver for this monitor and done all the necessary firmware updates and reboots. Is my monitor faulty or is there something else I could try?

Have you tried different DisplayPort outputs on your graphics card? Sometimes certain ports can behave differently depending on the design of the motherboard or GPU. Give that a shot and see if it helps!
It sounds like a compatibility issue with the DP connection. Make sure your DP cable is actually a version that supports the resolution and refresh rate you're aiming for—sometimes even new cables can be the wrong version. Also, check if your graphics card settings allow for higher resolutions on DP specifically. Sometimes it’s just a setting you need to tweak in your graphics control panel.
