I'm experiencing performance issues in Cyberpunk 2077 with my RX 9060 XT and Ryzen 7 5700. At 1080p, I can't seem to maintain a steady 60 FPS. In less demanding areas like the Badlands, I'm getting over 120 FPS, but in the city, it drops to the 50s. Benchmarks suggest my PC should easily handle 2K resolution, yet I struggle to reach 60 FPS on high or ultra settings without ray tracing at 1080p. What steps can I take to improve my frame rates?

Thanks for all the tips! I think the CPU is the issue, and I'm planning to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5600X soon.
First things first, have you tried lowering your graphics settings from high or ultra? This is a common way to boost FPS. Also, if you're curious, check if you're actually using the Ryzen 7 5700 or the 5700X. The regular 5700 can sometimes be a bottleneck for performance. What benchmarks are you referencing that suggest you should be running smoothly at 2K?
You might want to check your RAM configuration too. If it's running in single channel or at low speeds, that could really hurt performance. Also, make sure your CPU isn't overheating and that everything is set up correctly in your BIOS. Enabling XMP and adjusting your power settings can also make a difference. It's a lot to troubleshoot, but worth it if you want better performance.
Have you enabled FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution)? It can make a substantial difference in performance. Also, consider customizing your graphics preset to balance quality and performance, much like I did. I run a mix of settings that helped me stabilize FPS while keeping visuals decent.

I get what you're saying, but remember that different setups can yield different results. I’ve seen similar setups on YouTube hit higher FPS, it’s frustrating!
