Why Can’t I See WiFi Options on My New PC Build?

I've just built my first PC with the following specs: Ryzen 5 9600X, Thermalright Peerless Assassin 130SE, ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi, Team GROUP T-Create Expert 32GB, Samsung 990 Pro 1TB, ASRock Steel Legend Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB, and an EVGA Supernova 850 GR 850W 80+ Gold. Everything is running perfectly except I can't connect to WiFi. Windows only shows Ethernet as an option in the settings, and I don't see any WiFi options at all. I'm looking for advice on how to solve this issue!

It sounds like you need to install the WiFi drivers for your motherboard. If you have access to another PC or a laptop, you can download them from the manufacturer's website and transfer them over with a USB drive. Once the drivers are installed, you should see the WiFi options appear.

Another thing to check is your BIOS settings. Sometimes the onboard WiFi can be disabled in there. Reboot your PC, access the BIOS during startup, and look for any network options to enable WiFi.

Make sure you've downloaded the correct WiFi driver from the ASRock website. It's easy to miss if you're only finding Bluetooth drivers. Check under the support tab for WiFi drivers specific to your motherboard model.

I'm downloading the drivers now and will keep you updated!

If you can't find the WiFi driver, try checking for any chipset drivers that may include network drivers as well.

It's also worth checking if your WiFi adapter is recognized in the device manager. If it's not showing, that might indicate a bigger issue, so make sure it’s enabled in BIOS settings first.
