Why Can’t I Use My Blu-ray Image on Toshiba and GETAC Laptops?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to restore some laptops, specifically Toshiba and GETAC models, using a Blu-ray image that's split across three discs. While I could get to the third disc on the GETACs, it used to freeze during the process. Now, when I try to initiate the restore, the power cycles or the option is grayed out. The instructions indicate that this image is only meant for certain Dell and HP models. Does anyone know how I can make this image work on GETAC and Toshiba laptops?

Also, as a side issue, I attempted to copy the image contents from the original Blu-ray to a blank disc, but neither of my drives recognizes the copied disc, while the original works fine. Any thoughts on that?

Honestly, relying on optical media in 2025 feels a bit outdated! You might want to reconsider your imaging method. I personally use virtual machines with some PowerShell scripts and Macrium Reflect via USB for better results. This way, you can pull the image file directly from USB or a network share. It avoids all the hassle with optical formats!

I hear you! I’m just following the tools given to me. Do you know why the instructions would limit compatibility to just certain HPs and Dells?
