This morning, I ran into a strange problem with my Windows 10 desktop PC. I'm relatively new to this setup, and I've never encountered this issue before. Suddenly, I can't access specific websites that I use daily over my Ethernet connection. I tried various browsers, cleared cache and cookies, disabled IPv6, and even ran CMD commands to flush DNS, but none of these steps worked. Interestingly, when I switch to WiFi on the same PC, everything loads perfectly fine. Other computers on the same network have no issues at all. This means the router isn't the problem. I'm baffled because I don't think it's a firewall issue either; if it were, the sites wouldn't load at all on either connection. I also don't use a VPN or any specific proxy settings. What could have changed with my Ethernet setup between yesterday and today? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

It sounds like a DNS issue. Try opening this link: https://1.1.1.1/help while you're connected over Ethernet. If that page works fine, it's definitely a DNS problem. If it doesn't load, it might point toward a different issue with your Ethernet settings.
If that page doesn’t open over Ethernet but does with WiFi, then resetting your network adapter could help. You could also try renewing your IP address. Sometimes it’s just a minor glitch that can be resolved with a quick reset!
