Why can’t my PC see my Galaxy S21 when connecting via USB?

Hey everyone! I recently ran into an issue where my Windows 10 file explorer doesn't recognize my Samsung Galaxy S21 when I connect it via USB. I use the same cable as always, and while my phone charges and shows options for file transfer, my PC just doesn't see it, which is weird since it used to work fine. I also made sure my phone is unlocked. I even tried a different USB cable, but that didn't help either. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It might be a driver issue. I had something similar happen recently. I recommend checking for Windows updates first. Go to Windows Update, check for updates, and make sure to install any driver updates that appear, including the optional ones. That usually helps with recognition problems.

That makes sense, but how could the drivers be missing if it worked previously? Is there a chance I need to reinstall something?
