I have a Kingston DT 101 G2 USB drive that used to have 8 GB of memory, but now it only shows about 3.9 MB available. I've tried formatting it, cleaning the disk, and using validation tools, but nothing seems to restore its original capacity. I also updated the drive and attempted to delete files, but it wouldn't cooperate. Disk manager says everything is fine, but clearly, it's not. What can I do to fix this?

It sounds like your drive might be toast. Honestly, if it's showing only 4 MB now, it might be time to stop using it and get a new one. I recently picked up a 256 GB USB 3.0 drive for just £20, and it's been a solid investment!
Are you looking to recover any data from the drive, or just trying to fix the memory issue? If it's data you want back, I'd recommend getting a professional data recovery service involved. They often use specialized gear like PC3000 for this kind of thing.
You might also want to try using TestDisk; it can help recover data from corrupted partitions.
