Last night at around 3am, my husband's iPhone unexpectedly turned on and blared out some kind of advertisement. We can't remember exactly what it said, but it was loud enough to wake both of us, even though I quickly turned the volume down to avoid waking our daughters. My husband usually turns off his Wi-Fi and cellular data at night, and he hasn't downloaded any new apps recently, so we're baffled by how this happened. He doesn't believe in the paranormal, yet was quite spooked by this event. Can anyone help explain what might have occurred?

It’s hard to say for sure, but my first thought is that maybe one of you talked in your sleep, and Siri picked it up, thinking you were talking to it. You might want to enable 'sleep focus' on the iPhone to prevent interruptions at night.
