I got my iPhone 13 in January 2025, and recently, the battery started acting weird. It was fine until a few days ago when it began turning on and off by itself. It would show around 98% battery life one minute, and then after restarting, it would drop to 10%. I'm confused about how a phone can suddenly lose battery life like this when I've only had it for less than a year. Is there a way to fix it without buying a new battery, or is that my only option? I recently downloaded some apps for promotions, but they don't seem to be consuming much battery according to the usage stats.

It sounds like the battery quality might be the issue. If you didn’t get your phone directly from Apple, it’s possible that a third-party battery was installed during refurbishing. Given that you purchased it in January, that explains the sudden battery problems. You might need to get a new battery after all, especially if it’s performing this way.

I actually got mine through Visible, so that might be why.
