Hey everyone, my iPhone suddenly shut down after overheating and now it won't charge or show any sign of life. I'm a bit confused about whether it's the charger that's faulty or if the battery has died. Just to give you some background, the battery health was at 94% the last time I checked it. Any thoughts on what could be going on?

If you dropped it before the shutdown, there might be a loose connection rather than a swelling battery. If you feel comfortable, you could open it up and check, but if not, definitely let a professional handle it!
It sounds like there might be an issue with the battery, possibly a swollen battery that has disconnected a wire. I’d recommend not trying to charge it anymore and just taking it to a repair shop to get it looked at.
