I recently noticed that my desktop wallpaper on Windows 11 has gone completely black. The weird part is that when I drag my cursor over the screen, it slowly reveals the wallpaper underneath. Does anyone know why this is happening?

This has happened to me before! It usually means that the image file for your wallpaper might have been deleted or moved. Just make sure you have a backup of the image file in a safe place, and try setting it as your wallpaper again. You should be good to go after that!
It could just be a glitch with your video driver. It happens sometimes, especially after updates. Usually, it's nothing to stress about, but you might want to check for driver updates just to be safe.
Oh, okay! Thanks for putting my mind at ease!

But what if the image is still there? I'm a bit worried!
