Hey everyone! I've been dealing with this annoying issue on my Asus laptop running Windows 11. Out of nowhere, my wifi disconnects—sometimes the wifi icon even disappears from the taskbar, and when I try to check for available networks, nothing shows up. My other devices still connect to the wifi just fine, so it seems like the issue is solely with my laptop. The only fix I've found so far is restarting the laptop, and I know it's not me accidentally turning on Airplane Mode. I'm really hoping someone can help me figure out what's going on and how to stop this from happening. Thanks in advance!

The disappearing wifi icon usually means your laptop isn’t recognizing its wifi capabilities. Make sure there aren’t any physical switches or FN keys being pressed accidentally that might turn off the wifi. Some laptops have those hidden buttons that can cause this issue.
You could also try these steps: 1) Update the BIOS and reboot, 2) Reset the BIOS to default settings and reboot, 3) Remove the wifi device from the device manager and reboot, 4) Download and install the latest wifi drivers and reboot. If none of this works, it could be a hardware issue, and you might want to contact the vendor.
It sounds like a driver issue. I’d suggest trying to reinstall the wifi card drivers to see if that resolves the problem.
You might want to try uninstalling the device via the device manager and then reinstall it. I had the same problem on my desktop and that worked for me!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll give that a shot.
