Hey everyone! So, I'm having this weird issue with my computer—it just powers off randomly without any warning. It happens so fast that I'm left wondering if there was a power cut, but that's not the case. After it shuts off, it tries to restart, but sometimes it just keeps cycling on and off repeatedly until it finally boots up again. I thought everything was fine until it happened again about 30 minutes later. I'm starting to think that the problem might be related to either my power supply or the motherboard. I went ahead and ordered a new power supply to see if that fixes things. What do you all think? Any thoughts or insights would be greatly appreciated! Here are my specs: 9800x3d, Asus x670 e - f strix gaming, RTX 4080, and 64GB Corsair RGB 6000. Thanks!

If you noticed any buzzing noises from your PSU while checking the cables, that might indicate it's failing. It’s concerning if the unit is making weird sounds—it could definitely be on its way out! Keep an eye on that.
Honestly, it's probably an issue related to the PSU or maybe heat. But I doubt it's heat-related if your components are all within safe temperature limits, especially if you have a good cooling setup.
It sounds like a loose connection could be the culprit. Have you checked that your power cable is properly plugged into the outlet? Sometimes, a wobbly connection can cause sudden power offs like that. Just a simple fix, but it can be tricky to spot!
Yeah, I’ll double-check that! I was about to upgrade the power supply anyway, but it doesn't hurt to be thorough.
Yeah, I’ve monitored the temps, and they’re always well under thermal limits. I'm leaning more towards a faulty PSU.
