Why does my computer show ‘No Internet, secured’ when I try to connect to my Wi-Fi?

I just moved to a different room and have been trying to connect my computer to a new router and Wi-Fi repeater I've set up. While my phone connects just fine and has internet access, my computer can't seem to get online at all. What can I do to fix this issue?

Looks like you're connected to the LAN but not the WAN. If you can log into the router while on your computer, check the logs and see what clients are connected. That might give you some clues about the internet connection problem.

Sounds like your computer is connected to the router, but the router itself might not be online. Is your phone connected to Wi-Fi or using mobile data? If your router is a combo device, try unplugging it for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. If it's a separate modem and router, unplug both for half a minute. That often helps!

I'm using Wi-Fi on my phone, but I'll give the reset a shot. Pretty sure the router has internet access though.

Not much info, but since you mentioned changing rooms and routers, have you set up the new router properly or are you still using the default settings? If you're using a repeater and it's far from the main router, that could cause issues too. Start by connecting your computer directly with an Ethernet cable to see if there's internet access and check the router settings from there.

Yes, I'm currently trying to configure the Wi-Fi router correctly. I'm using a repeater because the main router is quite far away.
