Hey everyone! I'm having a weird issue with my gaming PC (Republic of Gamers). Recently, I've noticed that while playing games, they tend to stutter at times. However, when I open Task Manager, the stuttering stops, and the games run much more smoothly. I even installed a program called 'Temp Core' to monitor my CPU temperature, which typically sits in the 70s. Strangely, when Task Manager is open, it drops down to the 50s-60s.
I've run virus scans with both Microsoft Defender and Malwarebytes, and everything seems clear on that front. I'm at a loss trying to figure out what's going on. Any advice would be really appreciated! For some context, I'm running Windows 11, have an Intel i5-11400F processor, 16GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card.

I've seen this before; malware often uses tricks to avoid detection. Try using a different process monitor, like Powershell, to find any strange activities. Also, check your Windows logs for any unusual entries.
This sounds really odd! It could be that some kind of malware is trying to avoid detection and shuts down when Task Manager is opened. Have you recently downloaded anything suspicious?

I looked into Process Monitor and it flagged something named Tool.MDWD.Win32.113. Any tips on how to remove that?
