Hey everyone! I have a Dell G5 laptop running Windows 11 that I bought last December. Lately, when it's on and charging, I get the blue screen of death (BSOD) that says "critical process died" every time I unplug it. I've checked for updates and everything is up to date regarding Windows and drivers, so I'm not really sure why this is happening. If anyone has some insight or advice, I'd really appreciate your help!

It sounds like you're dealing with a bug related to your power settings or possibly the ACPI driver. I'd recommend downloading the latest Dell Power Manager and Intel Dynamic Tuning drivers from Dell's official support page for your model. Also, go to Device Manager, find "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery," uninstall it, and then restart your PC. This will prompt Windows to reinstall it fresh. Don't forget to set your power plan to Balanced too!
I'm trying this now! Struggling a bit to find the drivers you mentioned, but I'm definitely giving it a shot. Thanks for the help!
