I've recently partitioned a drive for backup and set aside about 336 GB for my important old files. However, after transferring everything, the files only amount to roughly 130 GB. When I check the properties of the drive, it still indicates that 336 GB is being used. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening and how I can fix it?

After using Windirstat, I found nearly 200 GB of unknown data on my drive. Does anyone know how to track down what’s taking up that space? Any tips would be super helpful!
You might want to check out tools like WizTree or WinDirStat. They really help in pinpointing where space is being used on your drive. Just be careful not to delete anything until you verify it's not a necessary system file.
