Why does my electrical breaker trip when I start my PC or play games?

I'm dealing with a tricky electrical issue in my newer apartment. Every time I boot up my PC or launch a demanding game, the breaker trips. My setup includes an RTX 5080 GPU, a 750W power supply, two monitors, and a small lamp, so I don't think I'm overloading the circuit. I had a maintenance guy check it out, and he replaced the breaker with a less sensitive one, which worked for a few weeks. Now, it's tripping again as soon as I start my PC. What options do I have to solve this problem?

This sounds like it might be an issue with your building's electrical setup. A 15A circuit can handle around 1800W, which should be plenty for your PC. Consider getting a power meter to check your PC's peak consumption and then talk to your building management about the issue.

Yeah, I've noticed some maintenance guys can be dismissive. If you're within those specs, they should do more to help you.
