Why Does My iPad Pro Keep Going Black?

I have an 11-inch iPad Pro, and the screen has been randomly going black. I've tried restarting it and pressing all sorts of buttons, but nothing works right away. After a while, it seems to come back to normal, but this has happened a few times now. I'm curious if this is related to software updates or if there's a hardware issue. I haven't dropped it or done anything that would cause damage.

Quick question: did you buy your iPad new or used? The generation can make a difference too. The 11-inch Pro goes through different software updates, so it can be helpful to check if you're on the latest version!

I bought it brand new at the end of 2023, and it's the 4th generation. This is the first time it's done this.

It sounds frustrating! Try plugging it in and letting it charge for a bit. Sometimes the battery might just need a little boost. After that, attempt to force restart it again. If it keeps happening, you might want to look into it further.

I did try that, but it keeps acting up.
