I've been having an issue with my iPhone 15 Pro Max where the screen dims for a second or two whenever there's a bright flash in videos, regardless of the platform I'm using. This started about a week or two ago, and it's really frustrating, especially during live streams. For instance, while watching storm chasers, the screen goes black whenever there's lightning. I initially thought it might have been a YouTube problem, but it happens with any video, including text messages. Interestingly, it doesn't happen when I watch YouTube on my Apple TV. I've searched through my settings but can't seem to find anything that could be causing this. Has anyone else experienced this issue? My friends haven't, so I'm wondering if it's just my phone.

I haven't experienced that issue on my iPhone. What iOS version are you on? Also, check your battery health; it should be above 80% and have at least a 40% charge when watching videos.
I'm on version 26.2.1, but the dimming happens regardless of the battery percentage.
