I recently encountered an issue with my ASUS VivoBook laptop that has been functioning well until now. When I power it on, it goes into sleep mode within about 30 seconds. I've already disabled the sleep settings, and I adjusted the screen-off features, but nothing seems to have worked. This problem does not occur when the laptop is in safe mode, which suggests it's related to the main operating system settings or components. Some have suggested that it could be due to the graphics card needing an update, but since the laptop keeps sleeping, I can't complete the update. I would appreciate any help with this issue!

Have you tried accessing the BIOS/UEFI settings? If the laptop stays on longer there, it could mean a problem with your power jack. Sometimes, the laptop won’t recognize that it’s plugged in properly, causing auto-sleep.
First, check if your laptop is plugged into power. If there's an issue with the battery or it’s low, that might trigger sleep mode. Also, ensure there's nothing magnetic nearby that could trick the laptop into thinking the lid is closed, like a magnet from a phone. Sometimes it can be something simple like that!
I've kept it plugged in always since the battery isn't working, and I’m not sure if the magnet is the issue either. I removed my phone, but it still happens.
Look for the power and sleep settings specifically for critical battery percentage. It sounds like your laptop might be reacting to a faulty battery charge, causing it to hibernate even when plugged in. Make sure to check those settings!

It recognizes the power connection fine in BIOS and safe mode, but it still goes to sleep in normal mode.
