Why does my MacBook Air keep disconnecting from WiFi?

I've been having a frustrating issue with my 2020 MacBook Air where it disconnects from WiFi every 10 to 30 seconds. I also own a 2024 MacBook Pro and an iPhone 13 that stay connected without problems, so I know it's specifically my MacBook Air causing the hassle. I've already tried a few things like forgetting the network and re-entering the password, restarting the device, and renewing the DHCP lease for TCP/IP, but it's still acting up. This problem has only started happening in the last week, and I can't even update the software because it keeps failing, claiming I'm offline. Is there anything else I could try?

You might want to try creating a new network location on your MacBook. If that doesn't work, consider switching to an Ethernet connection if you have an adapter handy. It's worth a shot!

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue. Do you have any other ideas?
